Kanye West ‘False Idol’ Crucifixion Sculpture In Hollywood Is Creepy AF

Hollywood will always be “Hollyweird.” If you need proof of that, all you’d have to do is walk down the street in la-la land for under 10 seconds. If that’s still not enough for you, this obscure and kind of awesome Kanye West sculpture should do the trick. A street artist who calls himself Plastic Jesus has composed a life-size gold sculpture of the 39-year-old rapper recreating the crucifixion of Jesus. On February 22, the Los Angeles-based artist erected the sculpture called “False Idol” at Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue in West Hollywood. The sculpture features nails in each of Kanye’s hands. Also included are a pair of Yeezys from West’s popular collaboration with Adidas. Street artist Plastic Jesus spoke to the Hollywood Reporter about what inspired him to create the sculpture, saying, He’s a genius at writing and producing but he’s not a God, and that’s where we put him. Until there’s an issue in his life or a hiccup in his career, then we crucify him. H...

Acting President of Association of Bureau de change Operators,Aminu Gwadabe, who confirmed this in a chat with our correspondent, said the apex bank  use of carrot rather than stick to banks directing them to sell their invisibles services at  20percent margin is really bringing out the stashed liquidity in the banking safe, homes, etc. He said other measures of the CBN like reduced tenored futures, intervention in the parallel market have aided a significant naira rebound in the market. He however added there is the need for the apex to still look at the sources of supply ends of the market like the diaspora remittance and FDI agitations to complement the mouth watering margin of 20% to banks transactions. “The CBN should also harmonise the rates between that of the BDCs buying and selling rates and banks to ens...

It’s been months since Kanye West’s heated rant during his tour. As a matter of fact, it’s been so long, most people figured Drake would never respond to West calling him out. If you were one of those people like me, you thought wrong. The 30-year-old Toronto native sat down for a new interview with DJ Semtex. When asked about the confusing comments West made about him in November, Drake finally responded, saying,” I think everybody has their own little things going on, I’m not really sure what he’s referring to half the time, as in the same breath, I went from being… like working on a project with him, to him sort of publicly s...
