The $2 million dollar scholarship winner has returned to her home country Nigeria.

Magdalen edet, the 20 year old Bluecrest collage student who last year won the $2 million dollar scholarship to study in the united states, has returned to Nigeria, her home country.

Miss Edet last year beat over 500 students from Ghana to emerge the best scholar extraordinary for 2015.

The event took place on 5th january 2015, at Legon university hall, the competition was based on Information technology and some science subjects.

The Nigerian winner has finished her masters scholarship program on Computer science at Harvard university and she came out with a first class result.

According to a source, Edet has finally arrived Nigeria yesterday night around 9pm at Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos, Nigeria.

Nigeria: FG Announces Plan to Increase Workers Salary

Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has stated that the federal government has plans to increase workers’ salary next year. Speaking with newsmen on Tuesday, he said the review of the minimum wage is part of government’s priority for the new year. “Minimum wage is a constitutional issue and is in the exclusive list,” he said. “The Nigerian workers are entitled to a review of their pay under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. “The various committees handling this matter are all working hard to realise the objective. Some are at the final stages of their work.” He added that the kind of minimum wage being worked out by the Buhari administration, would be enforceable by workers in both private and public sectors. My husband sleeps with his daughter – Wife tells court

A civil servant, Blessing Ilo, on Tuesday told a Nyanya Customary Court, Abuja, that her husband has been having canal knowledge of his biological daughter. Ilo testified in a divorce petition she filled against the husband, James Akpan. She said, “All the while I was living with my husband and that little girl of 12 years, I don’t know that my husband was always having sex with her when I’m out of the house. “I would not have suspected anything because when my husband brought the little girl into the house, he told me that she was one of his children from another woman. “Also, the girl was still a child that no sane man will lust after.” The petitioner told the court that on a particular occasion, the little girl confessed to the police that her father usually tie her hands before having sex with her.
